Best Places to Visit in Jaipur

Jaipur is the nicest place to visit in Rajasthan. Jaipur has a whole list of places from forts to beautiful lakes. Below is few of them:-

1.    City Palace Jaipur, Rajasthan

The City Palace is located in Pink City, Jaipur which is the capital of Rajasthan. The City Palace has an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The vast palace complex occupies one seventh of the walled city of Jaipur. The City Palace was originally built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of the Kachhwaha clan of Rajputs. The majestic residence of the royal Kachwaha Rajput clan gives you all the reasons to visit this place. You will fall in love with the architecture and the beauty of this palace and will be looking for words to admire the rich collection of antiques that this palace showcases in its recently converted museum.

Amer Fort Jaipur, Rajasthan

Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber, which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur. The walls and the ceiling of the Mahal are covered with a beautiful array of mirrors, which reflect any streak of light, so as to illuminate the entire room.

Timings:  8AM- 5:30PM, 6:30 PM – 9:15 PM

Entry Fee: INR 500 for Foreign Tourists and INR 100 for Indians

3. Hawa Mahal , Jaipur

Built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the HawaMahal Palace (Palace of the Wind, or Pink palace ) is one of the major landmarks of Jaipur (Rajasthan – India). The structure is an interplay of red and pink sand stone, carefully and painstakingly outlined with white borders and motifs.

Timings:  9AM-5PM

Entry Fee: Indians Rs. 10, Foreign Rs. 50

4. Jaigarh Fort:

Standing on a hilltop overlooking the palaces and city of Amer. The Jai Ban is positioned here, The world’s biggest cannon on wheels. One of the best forts in Jaipur, It will be open from . the entry fee here is just 15Rs for Inidans.

Timings: 10 AM to 4.45 PM

5. Jal Mahal:

A Beautiful Palace in the middle of water – Man Sagar Lake. Fall in Love with Jal Mahal- Breathtaking is what anyone who visits Jal Mahal for the first time exclaims AND truly it is! Morning and evening times are the best to make the best of it. Built in somewhere around 1738, Jal Mahal as the name suggests is situated amidst the Man Sagar Lake.
